How we report

Who writes Sightlines, where the facts come from, and how to tell us when we get one wrong.

Who we are

Sightlines is the newsroom of SwipeHomes, an independent Singapore property-technology company. The byline is the Sightlines Desk. No article speaks for, or in the voice of, any individual. Sightlines does not sell property, takes no payment for coverage, and puts no lead forms or agent offers on its articles.

Where the facts come from

How AI is used

Sightlines runs an automated editorial engine. It finds stories, researches them from primary sources, drafts articles, and then checks them with a second, independent model and with deterministic rules: citation coverage, figures against the official rules registry, originality against every source, and advertising, privacy and fair-housing compliance. An article that fails a check is repaired or sent to an editor. Nothing publishes without either an editor's approval or a written, time-limited publishing policy signed by the owner. Each article says which applied.

What we will not publish

Corrections

We correct factual errors within two hours of confirming them between 7am and 11pm, with a dated note at the foot of the article. A legal complaint takes the page out of search immediately while we review it. To report an error, email hello@swipehomes.app with the article link.

Not financial advice

Sightlines is general information. Check current rules with IRAS, HDB, CPF Board or your bank, and take professional advice on your own situation before you commit.
